Equaide Pet is a water based solution made with activated charcoal and minerals. It is used for the treatment of all types of wounds and skin disorders on small animals. It is lower concentrated than the original solution therefore is a thinner solution but is still just as effective. The lower concentrated solution is the best option to treat the more delicate skin of small animals.

Long shelf life If it dries up - due to it being a water based solution you can add a few drops of sterile water (boiling water, distilled water, saline solution). Make sure after adding a few drops you mix it well. Very economical as a little goes a long way

How to use Equaide... 
Clean wound with saline solution/dilute hibiscrub and gauze swabs Dry wound Apply a thin layer of Equaide solution Apply a non stick pad (Melolin is what we personally use and recommend) and bandage using vetwrap To begin with we would recommend changing this bandage every 1-2 days and then change to every other day once it stops bleeding/weeping. If proud flesh is present we would recommend cleaning and re-applying daily for the most effective results in a shorter space of time.
